Materia

Made for a solo show at Asheville’s Artplay gallery in the late Fall of ‘23, also named Materia, I embraced the opportunity of this show to imagine how to visually express my process of painting making, from within the process itself. Materia intends to carry you into the intersection of nature and art making, permeated by creative forces, where one is a part of the painting as the landscape itself is, in its own making.
